Film screening: Camila comes out tonight

LawTransform and Bergen Global are happy to invite you for the second event in our
Queer Lawfare seminar series, this time in partnership with
Cine Latino!

On March 23rd at 16.30, we will be waiting for you at Jussbygget II (
Jekteviksbakken 31, room 145 – Auditorium) with candy and popcorn for a free screening of the film
Camila comes out tonight.

The screening will be followed by a conversation on ”
Queer youth as activists“, with
Isabella Lie Befring (Skeiv Ungdom) and
Ana Côrtes (LawTransform).

Film synopsis: The liberal teenager Camila is dissatisfied with her move to a conservative school in Buenos Aires, but she quickly strikes the tone with some rebellious classmates. As fresh as it is charming, this feminist coming-of-age drama about finding your own voice strikes home with its universal themes.

The film is in Spanish with English subtitles. It lasts 1 hour and 43 minutes.
