Segregation in Czech education is a complex issue. Romani children are disproportionally placed in special schools and institutions, and are concentrated at high proportions in selected primary schools.

Both of these developments are closely related to living in social exclusion and segregation in housing.

Join us for this event on the developments and consequences of segregation in Czech education from the 1990s to the present. Are there examples of good practice, and what are possible solutions?

In particular, the lecture will look at how the Office of the Ombudsman has been involved in addressing this human rights issue.
