Small, fast and cheap drones have reshaped modern warfare. In Ukraine, they are being weaponized to strike civilians behind the front lines, in what some have called a chilling “human safari.”

Drawing on Truth Hounds’ report Killzone: How Russian Drones Are Devastating the River Dnipro’s Right Bank, we will explore how drones are changing modern conflict, why documenting violations is harder than ever, and what can actually be done to protect civilian lives.
