We live in a time of rapid climate change and increasing energy demands, and now more than ever, we need to transition to sustainable energy sources.

This event will explore SDG 7, Clean and Affordable Energy.

Guest panelists include UiB lecturers, researchers, and representatives of local companies will introduce their areas of expertise and discuss sustainable energy transition, energy resources and affordability.

This event will include perspectives and case studies from a range of countries. In the second half of the event attendees will have the opportunity to ask the panelists questions in an exciting debate!

2. Astrid Nybø: Bergen Offshore Wind Centre
3. Vadim Vinichenko: Phasing out of fossil fuels (focus on Eastern Europe)
4. Thor Jensen: Energy transition in South Africa
