The Politics of Researching Sexual and Gender Minorities

Welcome to a seminar on the politics of researching sexual and gender minorities with

Pierre Brouard
, Deputy Director, The Centre for Sexualities, AIDS and Gender, at the University of Pretoria.

Adopting a critical sexualities lens, Brouard will discuss his latest research, on the politics of terminology and language, the challenges of agency and ethics, and the complexities of erotic justice. Brouard points to the importance of reflexivity and dignity when researching sexual and gender minorities.
